I messed up: Weightloss

So I loss weight and some folks were raving about how good I look and when will I stop. I fell for  the hype that I was where I wanted to be because others said so when in my head I know I still desire to lose 22 lbs, get rid of this lower belly pooch , get some killer arms and a firm tush. But instead of aiming for those things I went the opposite way.

I messed up BIG TIME

  • Gained 5 pounds since I updated my weight on my about page
  • Stop tracking my food, lost my 120 days streak on myfitnesspal (devastated)
  • Had lots of soda , candy , cake, cookies and chips
  • Avoided the gym and my workout videos like they were the plague
  • Hadn’t weighed my self because I knew the number staring back at me would make me cringe
  • I returned to my fast food favorites nuggets and burgers….mmmm milk shakes

Yes Ms. I-am-so-hardcore went south and it was not pretty. I stepped on the scale a few days ago discovering the damage I had done. If I continue this way I will be back at the doctor, with her giving me the ” You were doing so good but what happened” speech

I am sharing this because many of us fall off the wagon some times we take major hits to our ego and personal state of mind but

it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward-Rocky Balboa

Now I am looking to turn this this around 100%

Starting with below 🙂

  1. I’ve started Jillian Michaels- Ripped in 30 ( Review coming at my half mark 2/9/16)
  2. 3 day master cleanse ( to clean out all the crap that I’ve been eating..kinda like a restart 2/9/16-2/11/16)
  3. Registering for my Turbokick Instructor Certification (2/21/16)

Have you ever fell of the wagon? How did you start again?

Ok, I feel like I’m at an AA meeting or something but I truly feel like sharing is the first and hardest step. You have mastered it already! Also, you are so right, I think getting back up from a set-back is what really separates the people who will succeed at this. It is impossible to think we will be perfect all the time. I can tell you are motivated to get back up, I think you have got this! Good luck!

I wish I could express how much I needed to read this today. I also have been struggling with keeping up with the bandwagon, and started Jillian’s Ripped in 30 this morning! So, basically, thanks for the reminder that I’m not alone. 🙂
