Some people may call your fitness goals too ambitious. Some people may tell you you’re going too far. Some people may even say you are going overboard. Some people may say you aren’t fit for that or you’re too outta shape to try that.
I say you are taking your life to another level.
I say you do what you want and need to do for yourself.
I say you’re working on YOU (SOME PEOPLE MAY BE SCARED/INTIMIDATED BY THE BETTER YOU) . Your healthy living isn’t temporary this is FOR LIFE.
I say screw “some people” that may have something not so uplifting to say ( it may be family, significant other, friends, coworkers, church members, a friend of a friend) This doesn’t mean they don’t care for you or love you. It means they are dealing with their own insecurities or issues and can’t be uplifting to you at this moment.
You set your fitness goals and go after them… chase them down like a thief trying to steal your smart phone (I DON’T REALLY RECOMMEND chasing down a thief …..but you get my drift)
Go after your fitness goals with a vengeance because while some people are sitting around judging and scrutinizing your choice to seek healthy living… 3 months from now your fitness goals will make you
- Stronger
- Happier
- Confident
- Sexier
- Balanced
and those some people who had so much to say will be wishing they would have joined you with setting fitness goals!
My fitness goals:
Get my turbo-kick certification (Hopefully in 12 days-Pray for me)
Train for and Run a 5k ( I participated in 1 but I walked more than I ran..true story.. one of my best experiences on my weight loss journey thus far)
Complete Les Mills Body Combat 60-day challenge (Starting in 7 days..waiting on snail mail )
All of these goals are to really see what I am made of mentally and physically. To see if I can do what I set out to do while getting healthier and more active!
What are some of your fitness goals?
