I wish I had some rainbow and lucky charms at the end type of story about the struggle with weight loss but I don’t so lets cut to the chase.
The bad news is:
You’re not losing weight because you haven’t created a plan to get fit easily.
The good news is:
It’s the SIMPLEST tweaks that make the biggest difference in your weight loss
Here are 3 reasons most people are still struggling to lose weight
1.Your weight loss mindset is non-existent or too complex
Stating you will lose weight on your Facebook or Instagram isn’t enough — not to stick to your weight loss goals at least or thinking you need new gear to start (procrastination holds us back a lot). If you must overly announce to the world that you will lose weight and you are for real this time then your mindset is only 25% there.
When I go to your Facebook or Instagram page where you announced that you will be losing weight (if you even post after that infamous announcement) it isn’t clear how you will be losing weight, you just made a blanket statement. How do you plan to lose this weight ? (i.e. you will work out 3 days a week, or you will intermittent fast for 5 days on and 2 days off, or you will calorie or carb cycle)
1.You don’t have structured plan.
Now this sounds obvious (but let’s be honest, it’s the obvious stuff that holds us back.) You’ve been dieting endlessly. Low calories diets. Low carb diets. Trying any diet, you find on Social Media/Internet. But what is your structured plan? Do you even know what you what your own workout and eating plan is?
You don’t need to have a fancy weight loss plan “like an expert.” Just start somewhere with a basic and structured plan. Prove to yourself that you can do it.
To lose weight, you need to have a structured plan to lose weight.
2.You’re following too many people.
I know with our google access of finding weight loss inspirations on social media we think scrolling through 20 fitness gurus social media pages, liking every quote, video or food-porn pic will help us lose weight.
UMMM… not really
Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that. 😦 Following too many people on your weight loss journey may do you more harm than you think
It doesn’t matter how many fitness gurus products you buy if you don’t use 1 and give it time, it’s just more crap you have purchased. Stop trying to follow every fitness guru and choose 1-3 that inspire you and keep it at that. Follow people like (@brittnebabe or @christina_carlyle or @jjsmithonline and @fitapproach all of these ladies are super inspirational for fitness, weight loss and health overall)
Whether you’re starting as a beginner, bouncing back from falling off the wagon, or trying a new workout or eating regime, you only need to follow 1 to 3 fitness inspirations max.
I don’t even know what your weight loss goal is, but I know you can totally reach it.
So here it is.
You can be scared you will not lose weight or you keep rehearsing the last time you started and stopped or you can Take action today!
